Right. I am NEVER voting for McBush. Birth control is elective AND medical. This guy is an idiot.

Of course it’s a medication. What are you, brain dead? Idiot.

Birth Control is also given to women to regulate their periods, which in severe cases, could cause serious medical problems in the long run and could even cause death. My sister had extreme problems when she was 14 about her period and the doctors prescribed birth control pills and it worked well for her. So birth control is very very important to woman’s health and if Hillary Supporters were only aware of McCain’s stance, they would think twice about voting for him.

I think McCain is senile and should be removed from the Senate. If he can’t answer a simple question on how he voted on a bill and the reason why he cast that vote, he has no business being in the Senate, let alone being President. He’s lost it.

I saw Tony Blair squirm once when questioned about what he called his wife in private, but not like that. lol

I guess it’s clear who is not going to win for U.S. president this time around.

I worked at a pharmacy, and I can tell you that both are indeed behind-the-counter medications for different purposes, but prescriptions nonetheless.

why do we need a prescription to get Birth Control? Birth control is not a medication, Viagra is a medication.
by the way I heard that eating pumpking pie gives you the same effects as viagra, don’t know if its true.

He stroked his chin enough that it made his beard stiff. So Hillary supporters might flock to McCain to vote for THIS???? So he doesn’t support women and his voting record is abysmal in supporting the military.
But the media won’t admit that the emperor has no clothes. They want a close election; they want the drama. What worries me is that a “perceived closeness” plays into potential election fraud / tampering in November.

When you have to remember what “your” opinion is, it’s just plain sad. He SHOULD be embarrassed.

eddiejour,
Exactly. And more importantly, John McCain has repeatedly attempted to smudge his stands.
He believes, for example, in support for stem cell research. Whether or not you agree, John McCain answered a question at a town hall meeting regarding birth control, stem cell research, and abortion by saying he’s against such measures- clearly in defiance of his own position!
You’re right. Carly ought to know better, McCain ought to know better, and we ought to expect better.

It is refreshing to hear honest people admit their ignorance. It is a sign of strength. Not knowing everything and admitting it, is fine. But not knowing anything and not taking a stand on anything is a dumb idea. Yes, McCain needs to take a stand. I still don’t think that Viagra and birth control should be bundled up as a camouflage to full women. A former CEO of a major fortune 500 company ought to know better. Women are not that shallow.

Eddiejour,
A lot of people are glad that McCain wouldn’t lie about something he doesn’t know about. The problem is, he tells us again and again that he doesn’t know something.
Why is that a problem? Because a few years ago, McCain voted AGAINST equal coverage for women under healthcare, and Carly Fiorina told women that morning that he supported and understood their issues.
He doesn’t. He doesn’t even know what he’s voting for. And that’s pretty depressing.

Except that everything that she is saying is true and there is media coverage and records to prove that what she is saying is true…like McCain’s voting record. And also what he has been saying in his campaign.
